Certified nurse aides, also known as certified nursing assistants, work directly with medical patients in a variety of settings. They take direction from medical staff and are often responsible for helping patients with daily activities, monitoring their vital signs and reporting their mental, physical, or emotional conditions.

Job growth for CNAs is expected to be at a rate of 21% over the 2012-2022 decade, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).This projected growth is faster than the average for all other occupations and is expected to create 312,200 new positions by 2022. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of nursing assistants is projected to grow 8% from 2020 to 2030.

We advise online applicants to call the admissions office at 469-312-8885 to pay $100 deposit to hold your spot for the date that you desire, as walk- in students do fill up the classes quickly.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
CNAs work under the supervision of a nurse or other licensed healthcare provider. They work in a hospital setting, home health setting, long term care facility, surgery centers, physical rehabilitation centers and in clients homes.
CNA’s are sometimes called PCT’s (Patient Care Technicians.) In order to work as a CNA or PCT in Texas, you are required to be a licensed Nurse Aide.
CMA classes teach students the basic techniques and safety procedures for medication administration.
Students will learn the classifications and side effects of drugs used in an elder care setting. Program coming soon in Fall 2021….

Each student shall receive a copy of the grievance procedure and the school shall maintain proof of the delivery. All complaints will be documented on the Student Grievance Form and are to be forwarded to the school director. The school director will review all completed complaint forms, and follow-up/investigate for resolution. The school will then maintain the complaint report including any associated documentation. The school will diligently work to resolve all complaints at the local school level.
